Presentation Description:
As we move to an era of ubiquitous access, with the prediction that within 3 years, all students in Australian schools above 10 years old ( and some younger), will have their own personal portable computer, now is the time for us to seriously reassess our capacity to capitalize on what it can make possible. In this session Travis will give examples of some of the best professional development programs he is involved in, and will challenge some of the current accepted models for professional learning that are failing to keep abreast of the opportunities.
