Bruce Dixon AALF
Bruce Dixon is the founder and president of the Anywhere, Anytime Learning Foundation and consults to schools, School Districts, Education Departments, Ministries of Education as well as technology companies such as Microsoft, hp-Compaq, Apple, Bertelsmann and Toshiba on 1-to-1 and technology in education. Bruce has more than 25 years experience working with schools and technology, as a teacher, Principal, software developer, undergraduate college lecturer, and then in 1987 with a partner he established an educational technology company, Computelec. As a national company of more than 90 staff, the company were fundamental to the establishment and growth of laptop programs in more than 80 schools across 3 states, before he sold it in the mid-nineties to focus on consulting. Since 1995 he has worked extensively in North America, and was in part responsible for developing the one-to-one program there, through the Anywhere, Anytime Learning initiative. He consults to schools, School Districts, Education Departments, Ministries of Education as well as technology companies such as Microsoft, hp-Compaq, Apple, Bertelsmann and Toshiba. Over the past 3 years, Bruce has consulted in the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, UK and New Zealand, and has been invited to speak at Conferences in Korea, Thailand, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, Phillipines, Japan, South Africa, United Kingdom, as well as Australia and several North American states.

Karen Li Global Education Program Manager, Intel Corporation
Karen Li manages Intel’s education sales development programs worldwide. She is responsible for helping shape Intel's strategic direction in the education sector and driving market development programs in both developed and emerging markets. In this role, she works with technology suppliers, development agencies, and other strategic business partners to enable and scale impactful eLearning usage models for governments, schools, and higher education institutions worldwide. Prior to this role, Ms. Li managed Intel’s engineering and business development relationships with premier software vendors serving the healthcare and telco industries, including McKesson, Macromedia and Genesys (a subsidiary of Alcatel). Ms. Li has also held various marketing roles at Intel, including Channel Marketing for the Americas region, Platform Launch Manager, and Business Marketing Manager for Intel’s Desktop Platform Group. Ms. Li holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

Andrew Douch Wanganui Park Secondary College, Shepparton, VIC
Andrew Douch is a practicing teacher of 19 years, and is currently the ICT Innovations Leader at WanganuiPark Secondary College, Shepparton, Victoria, where he also teaches biology and junior science. He has won a number of Government awards for his work with emerging technologies in education, including a 2007 Australian Government Highly Commended Award for Quality Schooling and the 2008 Victorian Education Excellence Award for Curriculum Innovation. Early in 2008, Microsoft named him the Australian Innovative Teacher of the Year and he went on to win the 2008 Worldwide Innovative Teacher Award. Andrew is in demand as a keynote speaker, locally and internationally and is has been sought as a consultant by schools and Education Departments on the use of online tools in schools. He is also in demand to provide professional learning workshops in schools - showing teachers how they can use freely available tools to transform their classrooms into learning communities, which not only engage Generation Y students, but lead to significantly improved learning outcomes.

Travis Smith Expanding Learning Horizons
Travis Smith is the National Manager of Expanding Learning Horizons, a business established to support schools in implementing successful and sustainable technology programs in schools. As Former Deputy Principal of Frankston High School and Director of Computing, he managed the largest Notebook program in a Government School in Australia. This included being responsible for overseeing the curriculum use of technology, the professional development of staff and the management of technology and technical staff. Travis has 11 years teaching experience and 6 years lecturing experience at Monash University and has spoken at events worldwide on the effective use of technology in the classroom. Travis believes that technology in schools is, and always should be, about what teaching and learning is taking place in the classroom and is passionate about ensuring that students have access to technology whenever they need it for their learning.

Janice Atkin Reach Out Program Manager, Inspire Foundation
Janice joined Inspire in November 2008 as Reach Out Program Manager. Her previous position was with the NSW Department of Education and Training as relieving Curriculum Manager for Health and Physical Education in NSW government schools. She was responsible for teacher professional development for Health and PE teachers across the state, curriculum resource development and strategic policy advice to government departments, non-government organisations and commercial enterprises. Janice managed the development of the Reach Out Central interactive game teacher and student resources developed in 2007 and the Heads Up digital teacher resource.
