With the Digital Education Revolution now well upon us, we are
faced with both the challenge and opportunity to resharpen and focus. We are
forced to reflect on our plans for meeting our student's future goals amidst our
chosen technology path, and how we can better leverage the potential of a Notebook
or Tablet PC in their hands to create the most exciting and innovative learning
experiences for them.
Schools and teachers are now more than ever equipped to inspire students to engage
in a world beyond school, leveraging a technology rich environment that mirrors
the outside world. The task before us is to seize that opportunity and ensure our
students are genuinely ready to engage in and lead thinking in the 21st century.
At this year's ELH conference, we will focus on the core business of teaching and
learning, reminding us all why the technology we choose to integrate is only part
of the equation, and that relevant, adaptive and continuous professional learning
programs and innovation are the real keys to achieving and creating exciting learning
opportunities for our students.
