ELH and SchoolTech, Australia's Premier Technology and Learning
conferences address a wide range of ICT challenges in education. From the integration
of ICT into the curriculum to network infrastructure challenges, ELH and SchoolTech
has something for anyone involved in technology programs in schools.
Since 1994, the ELH conference has inspired schools with
thought provoking ideas, equipped them with practical resources and provided constructive
tools for integration into their own environments. To meet the needs of various
knowledge levels amongst delegates, the program includes a Critical Conversation
stream for those with a mature 1:1 technology programs, Discovery Workshops
that provide practical resources for teachers and full day Technology Teaching and
Learning Institutes to deliver high level professional development unmatched by
any other education technology conference in Australia.
SchoolTech, for IT Managers and IT administration staff in schools runs parallel
to the ELH Conference. Running this event at the same time, at the same venue as
ELH encourages collaboration between IT and Curriculum staff in schools. Commencing
in 2005, this amalgamation proved to be a great success with extremely positive
feedback from delegates and presenters alike.
SchoolTech 2009 raises important issues facing IT administrators in schools and
addresses these through a range of Featured Presentations, Hands-On Demonstrations,
Discussion Forums and Management Insight Sessions.
The conferences attract a diverse audience, from schools embarking on technology
programs to the most technologically advanced schools in Australia and New Zealand,
providing the perfect opportunity for schools of all kinds to share and learn.
