Core Support Services

Server, Storage and Infrastructure Support
We can provide monitoring, support and management of physical and virtual servers, storage, associated network devices and peripheral devices, including server operating systems to maintain high availability and performance of critical infrastructure in the school environment.

Applications Management
We deliver application management services that allow us to monitor, maintain and support your critical applications. All of these services are backed up with rigorous Service Level Agreements and the highest level of security, performance and protection of schools managed data.

Asset Reporting
Managed technologies and devices form an asset database for the school, which can be used to report on devices leaving their warranty period and assist with planning major upgrades of ageing equipment. Asset reporting can also be used as the basis of a full network audit if one is required.

Service Desk
Providing a single point of contact for users, Computelec Service Desk will manage any incidents that arise on your network, escalating them where appropriate and within your SLA to a dedicated engineer or third-party vendor. Using advanced incident tracking adopting ITIL standards, we can quickly resolve issues, keeping you informed along the way and providing detailed reports to give you visibility into your network environment.

Engineering Support
Experienced engineers that work solely in education environments provide support, maintenance and resolution services to support your infrastructure, as part of your chosen level of service agreement or at a chargeable rate. We can also provide advice and recommendations for future planning needs and to assist you with your special IT projects.

Disaster Recovery
A Disaster Recovery Plan can be included to get you up and running quickly in the event of a complete system failure, or disaster such as flood or fire, providing you with protection and continuity of service.

Hardware Redundancy
As part of your Disaster recovery Plan, this service ensures that we get you back up and running in the event of a critical failure. Computelec emergency loan equipment can ensure continuation of critical services and functionality when you need it most.

Data Backup
We can provide secure and reliable management of your backup routines, devices and media, including changing tapes and storage security, giving you peace of mind and assurance that your IP is protected.
