School Districts, Regional systems, and corporations across the US, Australia, Canada,
Europe, and Asia and regularly speaks at national and international conferences
around the world. Over the past five years he has spoken at numerous events in more
than 35 countries, reaching educational and political leaders from around the world.

Travis Smith is the National Manager of Expanding Learning Horizons, a business
established to support schools in implementing successful and sustainable technology
programs in schools. As Former Deputy Principal of Frankston High School and Director
of Computing, he managed the largest Notebook program in a Government School in
Australia. This included being responsible for overseeing the curriculum use of
technology, the professional development of staff and the management of technology
and technical staff.
Travis has 11 years teaching experience and 6 years lecturing experience at Monash
University and has spoken at events worldwide on the effective use of technology
in the classroom. Travis is passionate about ensuring that students have access
to technology whenever they need it for their learning.

Natalie Morrissey is a former primary school teacher and ICT Coordinator. As ICT
Coordinator Natalie was responsible for the integration and management of ICT into
all aspects of the curriculum and was also in charge of training staff in the use
of ICT tools. Natalie managed the maintenance and administration of the ICT Program
and ensured all teachers were effectively incorporating this into their planning
and teaching. She oversaw the implementation of a collegial teaching program where
she managed and assisted teachers in the operation and use of the Interactive Whiteboards
and other technologies in their classrooms.
Natalie thinks that it is essential for teachers to incorporate technology into
their teaching as this is fundamental to student learning in the 21st century. She
believes that teachers need to provide students with contemporary learning environments
that foster rich experiences and enable meaningful learning opportunities for every
student.

As a former teacher, ICT Coordinator and Year Level Coordinator in both New Zealand
and Queensland schools, her role has extended to the design of classrooms that saw
students having access to a range of different technologies and curriculum design.
After her time in the classroom Jo worked as a Business Manager for Heulab Australia.
This role allowed her to work with schools and associations from around Australia
running numerous workshops and research projects that had a key focus on the integration
of ICT and developing curriculum resources.
Jo has always been committed to the ideal of true integration of ICTs within the
classroom setting and as a key building block in developing curriculum that enhances
and engages students in the classroom.

Natalie Cartwright is an innovative former teacher who has had extensive experience
in Gifted Education and ICT School Support. She has had an integral role in the
development of digital classrooms and was part of the team responsible for the implementation
of online learning within her previous school. Natalie has worked alongside and
scaffolded teachers through the integration of ICT into their programmes, overseeing
planning and running school-wide professional development. She has also developed
mentoring programmes within schools to ensure that teachers had the opportunity
to participate in professional learning communities especially within the realm
of assessment.
Ultimately Natalie’s professional goal is to see students accessing, using and developing
ICT tools on a daily basis and for teachers to provide engaging and enriching experiences
which are not only facilitated but encouraged via ICT.
