Microsoft OneNote is an amazing tool for creating, disseminating and completing curriculum. It allows for writing, typing, powerful researching and is ultimately being used as a paper replacement in many schools. The ability to set up OneNote Notebooks in the cloud or on school networks is taking collaboration to the next level in classrooms.

This joint presentation by Computelec and a school will offer an honest and interesting insight into what worked and problems encountered by schools who have recently introduced a 1-to-1 student notebook program.

Computelec has well over 20 years experience in partnering with schools to run sustainable 1-to-1 programs and was the first company in the world to implement this type of program in schools. This joint case study will highlight the importance of this relationship and hopefully give you some insight as to running effective 1-to-1 learning programs in schools.

This session tackles two important areas, with a focus on the diversity and strength of various professional learning initiatives that are a necessary component of any successful 1-to-1 initiative. Additionally the session will explore the key policies that must be addressed as a foundation for a 1-to-1 program, which will be supplemented with examples from other schools, showing both the benefits and consequences of their introduction.
